Meh, I think I'm just gonna publish it now, because Sunday Night/Monday Morning, same thing. It's 1 Am if you wanna get technical anyways. So uhh, since this is kind of last minute, I just kind of scrolled through the 70 something songs I have posted previously on my facebook and then just picked some that I'm really vibin' with right now.
Coulda Been - Lupe Fiasco . This one has always been a favorite Lupe track of mine, none of the crazy wordplay Lu' is known for or anything like that, but the lyrics are real, and I've always loved that beat. It just feels like one of those songs that you can listen to once, and then listen to it again, and then just say fuck it and put your itunes on repeat and just let it play over and over again. It's just a nice relaxing, kick back at 2 in the morning kinda song.
Mama I Want To Fucking Sing - Danny! . If you remember awhile back, a long while back, to like the first Music Monday, I posted Danny! back then, so I figured I'd bring him back for those of you who never saw that one. This one is off of his free album, "Where Is Danny!?". I'm not sure if you guys will like this as much as I do, but I like it so much because I feel like it's pretty much my life story over a beat... (those of you who I've talked to a little more probably know about my ambition to be a musician)
Symphonies - Dan Black ft. Kid Cudi . This song was always great to me. Really, other than this song, and the original version that's Cudi-less, I have no idea who Dan Black is. But I kind of want to look into him more, because he can clearly sing, and his lyrics were on point. And Kid Cudi's (ever so short) verses went well with the song. And as a music video, this one hit's hard too. You don't see too many videos with visuals this good. It's a shame that videos like this aren't the ones that they nominate for VMA's...
i'll acknowledge Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs awesome name and that they're the kind of danceable stuff i love, thanks for posting this, LFF. new Atmosphere sounds tight too.
