I'm glad to see this thread, surprised I only just came across it, I used 2 longboard when I first started skateboard, for like a year and a bit just bombing hills and sliding out the backwheels like a madman. I been recently thinking about replace my busted old longboard, (it's outlasted soooooo many shorties) but it's mainly used 4 transportation at this point cuz I prefer 2 bomb a hill on a shorty with gloves and slide it out all techy like.

can a long-board be used effectively in narrow streets? I have doubt guys could you suggest me should I choose it or go with the regular one..

Depends what you want to do, a shorter cruiser might be appropriate if there are lots of sharp turns likely.

Sure! Set up turny, like most longboards would be, and you're fine.
