Holden here used to use LS1 engines in their higher end cars. While they're aging, there are still fans who rave about their reliability.

And dudes my passenger side arm rest just snapped off today. I heard something rattling from that side so I open and shut the door, look back over, and the arm rest is hanging by a piece of broken plastic. Woooo Nissan! The door I don't use falls apart out of nowhere... I guess my sub could have the tiniest bit to do with it, but that's unlikely since I only have one 10. And last weekend a fucking palm frond fell from like a forty foot tree and dented my front left fender. Christ man I'm trying to sell this thing soon.

Took some pictures with a couple of other fox coupes the other day. The black/white car is an old highway patrol car with an '01 Cobra motor in it.

BTW I changed the clutch cable in my car for the first time today. Biggest PIA ever.

yeah, Sara is gone. the floors rusted through way too much and i paid some guy way too much fucking money to fix them, thinking he'd weld in all new panels. ended up he just tack welded in a flimsy piece of metal on the biggest holes, and filled the rest of the holes (and the rest of my entire fucking floor) with this thick disgusting black tar shit that didn't dry for the next week and gave me headaches after 30 min of driving. said "fuck it".

sold it for $800. cool guy, always tags me in pictures of his progess with it on FB.

and that black shit? still hasn't dried. still dripping out of the holes onto the new owner's driveway.

oh and i'm driving an '85 300zx.

Yeh what is that shit? My first car was an old Ford compact, and I paid some grease monkey to weld up some rust holes on the door sill, where the scuff plate is. He used that shit, and it never dried. I ruined a few pairs of pants getting into the car.

i think its this stuff called POR-15.

except por-15 is supposed to dry rock-hard or whatever so maybe im not too sure.

Drove my dad's new 97 cherokee today, 5.9L V8. It's fucking stupid fast for a jeep, stock 0-60 is 6.8 seconds. Best sleeper ever, I dusted a couple Hondas off the lights in town. And it's got a hole in the muffler so it sounds like a Hemi truck when you get past 3 grand. I <3 it

Funny you should say that. My friend was talking about them the other day and I found one that ran a 9.5. That's faster than a Veyron SS.

bet it's a gas guzzler too. I've heard even the 6 cyl Jeeps are heinous on fuel

Is that the sport version or whatever they called them before SRT? I remember reading an article about that shit, and I'm pretty sure 5.9Ls were not standard equipment. If it's what I think it is, it's a pretty rare car.

Jeeps have the worst MPG ever. My gf's Liberty gets like 20 highway and 16 city.

I get 30+ highway, 20+ city easy and have double the HP.

I don't understand why on most cars there is such a small difference between city and highway mpg.

I get about 14 around the city. and it's not because of driving short distances on cold starts. I'll run errands all over this bitch and average about 14 mpg in the city. When it comes to driving to and from AZ n Cali, I'll average at LEAST 25mpg and that includes spurts of flooring it from 80-130mph for shits n giggles.

and that city driving- I'm driving with a feather foot yo. Coastin up on red lights from as far as 2 bloccs away. Try to avoid going into first, now that I don't have it- not a problem. Ha
