How are the DC Mike Mo's holding up?

damn man, sorry to hear about your board going into the drink, that sucks!!

I got a Magenta with Theeves and Paradise wheels but when I was skating in Chicago on the Riverfront I tried a wallie to nose manual and fucked up. My board went off the edge 12ft into a lake in 20 degree weather. I got a replacement board with a DGK/Uprise shop deck with Thunders and Paradise wheels. The wheels are amazing and I'll probably replace the Thunders with TiKings later on (I originally had the CSX). Sorry about the DW because I don't really have the money right now. Thanks for all the help though!

The DW is brand new /griped.Make an offer and we can work out shipping. It's been sitting around and I'll never ride it.
I'm allterrain and found Indy XI/Theeve to the best 'all around', stage XIs feel amazing, tho heavy (hollow reynold's standards) Thunders for street. If you can't get tikings get the TIAX.
No wheel slides like STFs but many feel better.
F1s=close as you can get to STFs, on par but just a little grippier, still slide well and are hard. They too have a weird feel to them, an unatural feel, didn't notice it until I switched from classic spits back to the F1s, didn't like it at all.
Ricta are chalky but hard and I re-learned bluntsides with a set of chrome cores and they never flatspotted but they do not feel urethaney.
Best bet? OJs (pro street) or spit classics (they wear down wickedly fast). The OJs feel like the real deal and come in lots of duros 88/92/95/99/101.

I'm usually riding 8.5's (BTW how much for the Deathwish), but I'm sizing down to a 7.75 (trying to get tech). I used to like loose, but now I like really tight trucks so I can get my nose manuals down. I like Indys, but I wanna switch it up. I ride pretty much anything I can get a hold of (ditches, parks, streets, tranny, etc...). Also, the shop I'm going to does not have the titaniums or the tikings. They only have the remastered thunders and lights, and the CSX and TiAx. If I got either, I would probably get the regular of both. I know these are a lot of questions, but do you know any wheels that have the slipperiness of bones and the urethaney feel and grip of spitifres? I thought autobahns are okay, but I'm fine with going back to bones. Also, truck size, 145 and 5.0.

Whew, tough call! The Thunder ti lights (I've some setup now) are very light. lighter than the tikings but not by much. And much lighter than Indys.
Theeves turn better than thunders and are higher, so wheels size can matter. Thunder being lower even tho they are a hi truck.
Do you ride loose or tight? What terrain?
If you like Indys you'll love theeves, they feel the same but 'better' and they're lighter/have a better grind due to the titanium in the hanger.
I'm on Indy stage 11s right now and just ordered some 149 stage 11s, weight be damned they turn amazing. What size are you looking to pick up?

I finally have enough money to get a new set of trucks, and I was wondering if you'd recommend the Thunder Titanium Lights (the hi's) over the Theeve TiKings? Right now, I'm kind of leaning more towards the Thunders because they seem lighter (which isn't too big a deal to me but cool nonetheless) and easier to get a hold of from a shop without ordering them (I'm heading up to Chicago for a few days so I don't really have time to order them in to a shop). Never had Theeves, but i have had Independents, Thunders, and Tensors. Hated the Tensors, liked the Indy's, and loved the Thunders. Currently on some Indy's right now and liking them (I think I've had em for around 7 months).
TL;DR: Thunders or Theeves?

Large pivot cups are much bigger than what every normal truck uses, I tried all kinds, everything was loose. this only happened on one pair and it might be important to not that I was using TiKings, then bought a pair of Tiax for a different sized hanger (they both use the same hanger) but this developed after skating the tiax hanger in the ti plates.

They said they don't know when the Version 3's were coming out, but I'm probably gonna get those when they come out. The Indy's I'm riding right now serve me well, but I want to try something new when I get a hold of some cash. As for the pivot cups, can you put large pivot cups to fill in the extra space that forms after a while?
