Durability:
I’ve skated these shoes for over a year on and off, not harsh, but not lightly either. They have held up nicely. The sole is still extra grippy with little wear, but it is fading. The toe cap has held up well with noticeable wear, but still in good shape. The lower lace eyelet has taken a beating and resulting in ripped laces every now and again, but nothing too big. Even the design on the insole is still there!

Comfort:
The MJ3 is comfortable, but stiff enough for protection. The padded cuff adds comfort and stability. The insole is perforated for your sweaty feet so they can breathe. Who wants damp slippery feet while they’re skating? Not me. On the bottom of the insole is ribbed foam on the heel and diamond cut around the ball of the foot for extra comfort, as well as instep padding.
Board control/feel:
The column tread grip is means for really grippy shoes. Don’t plan on your foot slipping out from under you while you’re pushing anytime soon. With all of this grip you get a lot of feeling and control from the sole of the shoe. The toe cap is a bit pointed and narrow which also adds to the control.
Overall:
Good board feel and control, comfortable, simple and stylish, durable and is a shoe that won't disappoint.
