Price: When It comes to skateboarding trucks, these are cheaper, around $16.99 per one skate truck.
First Impressions: My first pair of these was in the purple/orange colorway, I wanted to try ventures and I like the way that color looked. First thing I noticed was that they were light, which I personally liked. The next thing I noticed was that they were easy to get used to and broke in rather quickly, not incredibly fast, but fast enough.
Response: No matter how you like you like your skateboarding trucks these will satisfy you, from tight to lose for some nice cruising, they turn when with little to no problems. They didn’t turn when I didn’t want them, only when I when I turned. Overall I would give the response a 9/10.
Durability: This was the biggest problem I had with these trucks. To start off, the kingpins broke very easily, not in a week or anything, but I broke my first one, (Ventures were my first pair of trucks) after 6 months of only flatground skating and very small sets and drops. Then I broke the kingpin on the other truck 2 months later. I ended up getting a slightly used pair for free from a friend for free and the same thing happened, except in a month this time. That’s the only real problem I had with durability though, they kept there shape and everything, no bent axels, there was no cracks around any of the 4 holes in which you put your bolts in, nothing. 6/10 because of the kingpins.
Slide: Not fantastic, but it’s good enough. They slid decently-well the whole time I had them. The kingpin getting in the way on grinds wasn’t a problem, but it would be if the kingpins didn’t break, there was just enough space between the axel and the kingpin for a nice smooth grind. Not the best, not the worst. In between, 8/10
Weight: As I said in the First Impressions section, I noticed these were light from the start. This may or may not be good news to some of you since some people like a sturdier board, and others don’t. I personally like a light board and I liked that these trucks were light. For those that like a sturdier board these are not that light, so don’t not buy these trucks just for that reason. This is preference so no given rating.
Overall: These are by no means the best trucks you can buy, but they aren’t the worse. I wouldn’t reccomend them, but if you find some that are cheap why not buy them. The main problem with these is that the kingpins break easily but other than that they aren’t terrible. The overall rating I give these is an 7/10.
