Hey guys! I understand I haven't posted content in a while, and this is due to being busy (alcoholism) and work (university), but I still want to help out this site.
A while ago, Tom-E and I had an idea about a column that would be really good for the content section.
Basically, you guys write to me, tell me what you want to hear my opinions on skateboard wise, and I'll do my best to write about each.
I understand the concept of this my sound very pompous, like my opinion actually matters, but being creative is very hard when you drink more alcohol than water, but I love to give my opinions on things.
I ask that all submissions be skate related, none of this "Does Slapdown like puppies" rubbish, and I ask that they all be fairly specific, not just one word like "Sponsorship". By this I mean, write "What are your opinions of shop sponsorships for young skateboarders?"
Hopefully, I'll be able to do two a week (Wednesdays and Friday-Sunday) as these are the times I'm not at Uni. The best submissions will be chosen per week. If your submission isn't chosen, but it was good, I may do it the following column.
My final request is DO NOT flood my PM inbox NOR do I want submissions to my personal e-mail address or MSN. I want ALL submissions to "slapdown@skateboard-city.com".
You can ask me to write about anything, from my opinions on Bam, to my opinions on Skateboard Video games. ANYTHING AT ALL! Best submissions win rep points as well, so make them good.
